my morning was a hot mess!

jarrod had to leave pretty early this morning .. so i knew i was in for a interesting day. interesting is defiantly a word you can use to describe it .. you can also throw in CRAZY.

i got up to feed payton at 6am .. she ate fine and i could tell she was doing her business while eating. i just let her finish her bottle first before changing her since she only had about an ounce left. after she was done i got her changed .. it was EVERYWHERE. she's been having some issues with pooping lately .. but her issue today was defiantly resolved. the girl went through 3 different diapers! she hates having her diaper changed so you can imagine at 6:30 this morning all the crying that was going on after three diaper changes back to back. i was so glad she got that mess out of there though. as soon as i got her back in the bed sawyer woke up so i ran to the kitchen to get his bottle warmed up. he had milk coming out of his nose/mouth [from the reflux] and of course i'm sure it was burning/hurting the poor guy. his eyes were watering and it just broke my heart. i got ready to feed sawyer and looked over at payton and she was throwing up ALL over our bed!! oh geeez!! she even got it on her favorite sea-horse ''/ i had to prop sawyer up with his bottle so i could get payton cleaned up and get a towel to cover the bed. i laid her back down and went back to feeding sawyer. when he was all done .. we burped and then he got in his swing happily staring up at the fish mobile. i knew when i laid down beside payton she wouldn't go back to sleep. she started crying and was clearly still hungry since she just threw up pretty much her whole bottle. i warmed her up some and she happily became 'milk drunk' in no time.

the afternoon went much more smoothly. i even got to take some pictures! i received the smocked bubble suits that mrs. thacker made for the twins today!! you would've thought it was Christmas the way i was opening the box hah. i can't wait for them to grow into them! they are amazing!!

i got a call from debra at JMA asking about how the babies are doing and since hannah-bug is out on her maternity leave they don't get to see pictures anymore. she also mentioned that they are going to be hiring for my position soon and asked me if i wanted to come back. even just part-time. i could def. do part time .. as long as jarrod could stay home with the twins during the hours i would be at work. i refuse to put the babies in day care .. or even have someone that isn't a nurse .. know infant CPR or don't know about preemies inside and out .. to watch them while both of us are at work. if i can work something out with jarrod and .. if i can bare to leave them for a few hours a day .. then i'll defiantly do the part-time thing. she said to just think about it. we're going on wednesday so hopefully i'll get to talk to her then. i also get to see hannah and bentlee!! i'm so excited. i haven't seen him since he was born .. other than pictures .. and i haven't seen hannah since then either. i can't waitttttt. i filled out all of my paperwork that jarrod printed off for me for our JMA appointment and got together their insurance cards and immunizations

tyler .. my brother in law has called jarrod periodically to check on payton and sawyer. i think that is so nice. i hate that i don't get to see him .. he's one of the coolest guys i've ever met.

have i mentioned yet that i'm soooooooo happy it's friday!? that means the hubby gets to spend ALL weekend with the babies and ME. lucky, lucky guy. ;)

our 4 year wedding anniversary is july 20th! jarrod mentioned he saw my facebook status about the iPad. he thought it was funny. i told him that i wanted one and he responded "why? you have a macbook air? .. and i responded "well when i go out places i can take it with me" .. which i received the wonderful response of "when do you ever go anywhere" hah .. thanks bud .. appreciatecha! but in all seriousness .. that thing has an app just for kids .. and you can read children's books by flipping pages and i just need this. really. i need it.
